Ultimaker announced last week that all of its 3D printing systems will be bundled with Ultimaker Essentials software, which includes Cura Enterprise cutting software; Digital Factory, an application for managing multiple printers from anywhere in the world; the Ultimaker Marketplace; e-learning, support and access to a digital library.
Now for businesses looking to expand their 3D printing business, Ultimaker is offering two new software subscription plans: Ultimaker Professional and Ultimaker Excellence. These subscription levels include full access to the developer API, more robust e-learning, and more sophisticated cloud collaboration tools.
The new reporting and analysis tool provides useful information for your individual printers, printing fleet, projects and applications. It is designed for complete reporting and supervision of your entire 3D printing operation and to reduce costs with reliable data on the cost of manufactured parts, the use of materials and more.
The seamless integration of CAD models and the platform (coming soon) will allow you to open CAD files in Ultimaker Cura, skipping the conversion to .STL.
